Electrical fittings have traditionally been treated as purely functional elements within residential design. However, as homes become more connected and design expectations continue to rise, switchgear is increasingly viewed as part of the architectural language of a space.
Legrand’s Living now with Netatmo range has been developed to bring smart functionality and contemporary European design together in a residential electrical system that installs much like a conventional setup while offering advanced control capabilities.
Living now with Netatmo allows homeowners to manage lighting, sockets and appliances through traditional wall controls or through connected features including remote access via the Home + Control app and voice control using major assistants such as Siri, Google and Alexa. Programmable scenarios such as Home, Away or Day and Night can also be configured to automate everyday tasks.

A key advantage of the system is that smart functionality can be introduced without altering existing wiring. Connected modules can simply be added during installation, allowing homes to adopt smart control while retaining familiar electrical infrastructure.
Designed by BTicino in Italy, the range features ultra-flat surfaces and full-touch controls, with a floating frame system designed to maintain perfect alignment and conceal minor wall irregularities during installation. A selection of 12 finishes is available, including zamak metals, real wood options such as oak and walnut, and designer techno-polymer plates.

Available through electrical trade distribution channels across New Zealand, Living now with Netatmo is suited to design-focused residential projects where electrical fittings are expected to contribute to both performance and visual identity.
