FIT has introduced a smart upgrade to its popular Cinetto bifold door hardware: a self-opening kit that adds push-to-open or pull-to-open functionality — no handles, no effort. Designed and manufactured in Italy by Cinetto Systems, the optional kit is fully retrofittable and enhances accessibility for kitchen cupboards, wardrobes, pantries and workspaces.
This innovation is especially useful for high-use areas where doors need to be opened hands-free. Whether you’re approaching with full arms or simply prefer a streamlined look, the mechanism activates with a gentle press. A spring-loaded system is adjustable based on door weight, ensuring smooth opening and closing, even for larger doors.
The kit includes all necessary hardware: self-opening mechanism, magnet kit, screws, latch and cover. It’s available in left-hand and right-hand versions, in grey or black. Importantly, it’s designed for use without a bottom track, and must be paired with unsprung hinges like the Salice SAL265.
Key features include:
- Adds push/pull-to-open function to existing Cinetto bifold systems
- Fully retrofittable — no need to replace doors
- Adjustable for door weights under 15kg, 15–35kg, and over 35kg
- Suitable for timber or aluminium-framed glass doors up to 50kg
- Streamlined finish with smooth, quiet operation
Already known for offering excellent value, Cinetto’s bifold systems are now even more appealing with this cost-effective upgrade.
