The AvanTech YOU drawer system is unique with its completely seamless drawer sides with no screws or adjustment access points anywhere. This is enabled by a design which includes a design profile – a plastic strip which clips to the top of the drawer and can be lifted to access to the tilt adjustment. This has the bonus of allowing personalisation to the drawer in an incredibly unique way.
The remaining adjustments are also accessed in a unique way, by sliding back the external drawer slides.
Previously this strip has been plastic for durability but now it is upgraded to a recycled plastic strip with a aluminium coating. The metallic coating plays its own crucial role in the upgrade. Not only does it provide a more genuine colour match, but it also enhances durability by offering a more scratch resistant surface.
This means as a standard AvanTech YOU design profiles have a flawless, luxurious look, while also lifting their sustainability credentials.
Hettich is constantly reviewing how it can make improvements to its most popular product. This change brings them a little closer to our sustainability goals by adding ever so slightly less new plastic – but it also better meets our customer’s feedback on the finish of the design profiles, so it’s better visually and functionally.
