INTEGRA Central Barrier Intertenancy Walling System from Resene Construction Systems

Published: 25 May 2023

Designed for multi-unit residential developments, the INTEGRA central barrier intertenancy wall system is a high-performance lightweight concrete wall system that provides protection against fire and noise between adjacent tenancies in the same building.

Resene Construction Systems designed, developed and tested this system specifically for the New Zealand market for use in medium and high density housing developments.

INTEGRA has passed rigorous independent acoustic and fire testing to exceed the requirements of the building code. It can replace other non-structural intertenancy walling systems available in the market.

Developed as a simple construction solution that is cost effective, fast and easy to install, it exceeds the building code minimum requirements as a standard system. No need for multiple layers or different thicknesses of plaster board to achieve excellent acoustic and fire ratings.

This system achieves FRL 120/120/120, offering 120 minutes structural adequacy, 120 minutes Integrity and 120 minutes Insulation (AS/NZ 1530.4.), and acoustic performance of 64 STC with standard 10mm plasterboard.

290mm – 336mm max overall wall widths means low waste, and with limited components allows non-specialist trade installation. INTEGRA utilises its own proprietary acoustic dampening bracket for fast and effective installation.

INTEGRA is BRANZ Appraised and BRANZ Fire Tested, and Auckland University Acoustics Tested.
