“SHAPING THE FUTURE, the New Dawn of Ceramics” was the concept narrated by Italian Ariostea at the World’s largest tile fair, Cersaie last month.

Ariostea technologies are unique: they are devised, designed and implemented directly in-house at the company’s own sites (which cover the know-how, mechanics and software), where raw materials are subjected to a process similar to that undergone by rocks on our planet over millennia. Put to high pressure and intense heat (up to 1300°), these raw materials form tiles of extreme compactness, homogeneousness and non-absorbency.
FRAGMENTA
FRAGMENTA is a unique full-body porcelain tile range. ‘Full-body’ meaning the fragments of porcelain are fused together to create a realistic stone-look design that is evident both on the surface and throughout the tile. For Designers and specifiers, this means the edges of the tile can be exposed and honed, matching the surface design.
Strong and durable, the skilfully balanced colour nuances and the natural stone effect of FRAGMENTA create unique looks in residential settings, commercial buildings, public spaces, and contract furnishing projects. There are no limits to design creativity with finishes that ooze character and functionality.
The surfaces of Matt (Soft) and Structured (Co-eff 0.48) allow for infinite solutions to meet contemporary design requirements from interior rooms into the exterior, where quality, performance and tradition blend to become one.

MARMI CLASSICI
In Marmi Classici, Ariostea brings to life some of the finest and most sought-after natural marbles, creating a timeless style that reflects contemporary design with incomparable elegance and harmony. The MARMI range is a porcelain replica of classic marbles with varied appearance and veining. Very difficult to tell the difference between these collections and Natural stone!
With an extraordinary range of effects, MARMI recreates all the splendour of marble and combines it with the outstanding Ariostea technical performance that only the finest porcelain stoneware can offer.
The Soft finish enhances the uniqueness of the veins, softly shedding the light to create warm tones of Marble. The polished finish brings out the unique and dynamic grain, while the striking gleam of materials enhances the surfaces’ prestige and natural beauty.

ULTRA MARMI
These stunning polished slabs make for an amazing durable and seamless project, requiring far fewer grout lines than traditional sizes. Four different designs/faces in these beautiful large format tiles and available in both polished and honed finishes. The reduced thickness to 6mm allows powerful bands of light to travel through particularly lighter colours creating the most incredible and original feature.
ULTRA MARMI is specified for original looks in floors, walls, facades, counter tops and even door facings.

ULTRA AGATA
Ultra Agata, a new collection named after the hard stone it is inspired by and that it recreates with astonishing accuracy. Irregular bands, often concentric and in contrast with each other, create a surface with a strong decorative value, where translucency, depth and opacity merge in a continuum of overlapping colours.
The collection is available in 3 intense, striking shades, 2 of which we stock, that respectively explore hues of brown and blue, while the Lucidato Shiny finish enhances the surface and adds vigour, highlighting the shades of colour.
Manufactured to 6mm, the products in the Ultra Agata collection are able to respond to the most diverse architectural design needs, and can be used for any kind of luxurious furnishing accessories.
