In celebration of its 40th year, Athena Bathrooms has launched two new customisable vanity ranges – Swift and Fleet – and will soon release SlateForma, a one-piece composite tray that provides an easy clean, grout-free alternative to a tiled shower.
The Fleet Modular Vanity
The Fleet Modular Vanity range is available in eight nature-inspired colours including Green Slate, Friar Grey, Indian Ink and metallic wash effect, Alchemy. This versatile design allows you to choose the colour of the frame as well as the colour of the drawers meaning you can mix and match to your heart’s content; whether the deep coastal blue of Indian Ink or the soft eucalyptus hue of Green Slate is right for you or perhaps it’s a combination of both.
Fleet comes in 900, 1200, 1400 and 1600mm widths allowing you to find the perfect vanity for the bathroom’s size and your family’s needs.
Fleet allows for a customisable bespoke approach with configurable drawers and handles, and a range of nature-inspired colours and finishes to choose from. Made to order, the cabinetry is crafted from sustainably managed, low emission board produced in New Zealand.

The Swift Curved Vanity
Biophilic elements and curvature are key features of the Swift vanity, available in new tactile finishes and gentler colours to deliver a fresh softness.
The high-pressure laminate cabinetry comes in four colourways: Baroque, a vertical woodgrain design, Surrender, a soft matt white laminate and two marble-looks, Catalina and Bernini.
Designed in collaboration with Auckland-based designer Sonya Cotter, traditional rectangular shapes have been discarded for elements with depth of character, texture, curves, and a sense of movement.
With soft edges to move around, the left or right-hand single-curve cabinets are a unique solution to add dimension where space is limited. For a bold statement in a larger ensuite or family bathroom, choose ‘drama’ with the Swift double edged curve vanity.
Swift also comes in two benchtop options: Contour Swift with solid surface bench top for top mounted basins and Serifos Swift, a premium solid surface under mount basin with integrated benchtop design that provides a classic, clutter free and easy-to-clean solution.

Introducing the SlateForma Shower Tray
SlateForma is a one piece composite tray that provides an easy clean, grout-free alternative to a tiled shower. It is ideal in any situation including vertical apartment builds and provides a cost effective solution compared to installing a fully tiled shower.
Created to replicate natural slate stone texture, the SlateForma shower tray has a protective gel coat available in three nature inspired colours – Chalk (slate white), Stone (slate light grey) and Anthracite (slate dark grey). The low profile 25mm tray is warm to the touch and creates a near seamless transition from bathroom to shower. Alternatively it can be rebated to create a level entry.
Available in a wide range of sizes to suit New Zealand homes – 900×900, 1000×1000, 900×1200, 1000×1200, 1000×1400, 1000x1600mm, SlateForma trays can be combined with any Athena door set to create a complete shower solution.
SlateForma square trays include a corner waste while all other models feature a centre-back positioned waste. Both options ensure discreet yet optimal drainage with a gentle fall to the Easy Clean waste outlet and coloured Athena waste cover and are designed to be installed on a level surface without the need for additional waterproofing. Upstands are custom fitted at the Athena factory to suit the installation prior to shipping.
